Responsible Gaming

Set boundaries before depositing

Westio is for 18+ only. Gambling should remain an optional entertainment expense. Never use money needed for living costs, borrow to play or treat a gambling balance as income.

In your account’s responsible-gaming settings, choose a deposit limit, select the applicable period and save it before making a payment. Check the confirmation and the effective date of any requested change. Ask support for help if a control is difficult to find.

Deposit and loss limits

Set affordable boundaries for the amount you can deposit or lose. Read how the account measures each period.

Session reminders

Enable reminders to notice how long you have been playing. Stop when a planned session ends.

Time-outs

Take a break using the account’s time-out controls. Available breaks run from 24 hours to 6 weeks.

Self-exclusion: a longer break

For a longer restriction, request self-exclusion through account settings or contact [email protected] and state clearly that the request is for self-exclusion. The available period runs from 6 months to permanent. Ask for confirmation of the period and the account restriction.

Do not create another account to work around a restriction. Ask support how any remaining balance will be handled and which communications will stop. If immediate account access is a concern, contact live chat as well as submitting the request.

Recognise when to stop

Chasing a loss, spending beyond a limit, concealing play, missing obligations or feeling unable to stop are reasons to pause. More deposits do not repair a losing session. Talk to someone you trust and seek independent support before returning to play.

Independent help

Gambling Therapy offers free global online support for people affected by gambling problems, including friends and family. Visit gamblingtherapy.org for its support services.

Use device-level gambling-blocking software alongside account restrictions if it helps you maintain a break. Check that a chosen tool supports your device, and consider asking your bank about gambling-payment controls.
